Happy Birthday Pe Pi!!

Today you are 2 years old - I can hardly believe that it has been 2 years since you were born. Tomorrow, 20 or so family members and friends will gather together to celebrate your birth, despite my best effort to keep it small this year :) Understand this, Ryan Olivia, you changed this world for the better the day you entered it....not just for me, but for MANY!! We are all blessed to have you in our lives and we all love you so very much!

You are without question the absolute biggest blessing of my life and I am so proud to be your mommy. You have changed so much over the past 12 months....you grew up and left the "baby" stuff behind this past year. You are full of energy, friendly, funny, independent, and a very smart little girl. You love to read your books, dance, swing, brush your teeth, wash your hands and "help" cook. We are working on manners...You have mastered please & thank you! But we are struggling with yes/no ma'am and sir as well as keeping your finger out of your nose - but I am not worried, only your mommy is more stubborn than you are, it will come with time :). I joke often that you have a lot of your mommy in you and you do.... - and that is OK too cause I would not have it any other way.

I can only imagine how much you will change and grow in the coming year as you start preschool, leave diapers behind, grow your vocabulary.....so rather than think of the coming year, I chose to cherish today, and each day as it comes - because as you turn 2 my sweet angel, Mommy is more aware than ever that it all will happen in a blink of the eye.
